This car is powered by a mid-mounted supercharged 6.2-liter V12 engine, developing 580 hp, which will get you from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Murcielago's acceleration is rapid at any speed, but the real power comes above 7 500 rpm.
Now it's more easy to drive Murcielago, than other previous Lamborghinis. This car has plenty of grip and keeps the road well. You can pilot your supercar on the sharp turns at a huge speed because of brilliant steering. Furthermore the Murcielago is surprisingly comfortable on rough roads.
The V12 Engine of the Lamborghini Murcielago is very noisy. Some road and wind noise is present inside the cabin, but they are not tiring and are covered with the engine roar.

Inside the cabin everything is extremely well made from the best materials and fabrics, not like in some older Lamborghinis. Murcielago is made in cooperation with Audi and a clear Audi's influence can be found here. Interior is arranged very logically what probably says about the German designers.
Behind the wheel it is easy to find a comfortable driving position for most people.
There is more space in Murcielago than in the old Diablo despite it's huge mid-mounted engine. On the other hand visibility is cramped as in most other rivals. The boot is reasonably big for a supercar.
On the safety list there are twin front and side airbags, electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes on every Murcielago as standard. Thieves are kept away by a passive anti-theft system
